Five life damaging lies & believes that we have been holding onto since ages

Life is full of ups and downs, it may be great at one moment and at the very next it would be as depressing and sad as you can expect it to be. However, a greater part of what we make out of our lives is what we do or believe and most of us rely on years’ old adages and sayings, forgetting that we should throw in a pinch of reality too.

So, here are some of the life-damaging lies that you had been latching onto your entire lives and you need to get rid of them now!

HAPPINESS IS NOT HAVING EVERYTHING YOU WANT!

Appreciate today for it’s worth, do not hold onto tomorrow for getting what you desired for. Life is not about getting everything that you dream of and similarly happiness is not about achieving your goals. Find time to appreciate and enjoy little things in your life, because if you wait for bigger things to come your way, you will never be happy.

ALONE MEANS LONELY:

Alone does not mean that you are lonely or you are so weak that you need a person to spend your life with. In modern day and age, it has become mandatory to have a person to rely on, but relationships are not the answer to your bliss. Being ‘Alone’ is the time when you should focus on yourself only.

THE POWER OF PAIN:

Pain is something we can never grasp onto, you never know what the person sitting next to you is facing or going through. Never underestimate the power of pain, as everyone has his own reality hidden deep inside the trenches of heart. Live and let live.

TO BE STRONG IS TO NOT FEEL PAIN:

You are pretty much way too screwed up if you think this way. In fact, the strongest are those who deeply feel the pain and learn from it and move on. Strong are those who cry their hearts out in darkness, get up, shed off that dust and are all set to slay the battle ring next day.

DREAMS ARE TIME WASTE:

The greatest gifts are those which are felt from deep inside the heart and not witnessed through open eyes. Never ever believe that dreams are the waste of time. Instead, dreaming is achieving!
